Pig Eyed Bandits are/were/could be/have been an alter ego band if anything (if such a things exists). Featuring all the same players who are/were/could be/have been in Amateur Assassins. These tunes were even recorded at the same session as t'Assassins double A-side "She 4 Explosives/Last Cult on the Left"(online currently/in physical form eventually).

All the songs were written by Mark, with the rest of us filling in as a sort of backing band. Initially though the Pig Eyed were a drummerless stoned-to-imperfection freewheeling-type of experiement, channeling the 70's new wave of English folk thing with the usual Beefheartisms thrown in. Here the songs were tarted up a bit through rehearsals
and gigging and then recorded live with vocal overdubs.

Hopefully they capture some of the initial craziness with a bit of clarity thrown
in.
